Our mission and purpose is not only to strive for our own salvation, but the salvation of every person in Jesus Christ. In doing so, we preserve not only the evangelical nature of the Church, but the pure and undefiled faith as it has been handed down to the apostles by the Lord himself who commands us all to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to obeyall that I have commanded” (Matthew 28:18)
Like all other Orthodox Christian communities throughout North America, we have grown throughout the years. From our beginnings at the turn of the century as a struggling immigrant community, to becoming the thriving witness of the Orthodox Faith in Cheyenne Wyoming to the present day, We are proud to be a part of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Denver, with His Eminence Metropolitan Isaiah of Denver as our Spiritual Leader. As a parish in the Metropolis of Denver, we are a part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Constantinople. Orthodoxy is a way of life, and thus we live our lives according to the teachings of the Holy Orthodox Church, and follow its tradtions and customs.
Our goal is to walk with Christ in our lives - to grow closer to Him, and to help one another grow in faith so that we may fulfill our purpose as followers of Christ. As witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as it has been handed down through the faith of the apostles in the traditions of the Church, we invite you to come home to the Orthodox Church by joining us in worship and fellowship.
